About Us

At In Bloom, we grow seasonal cut flowers for beautifully natural bouquets, displays and weddings in a Devon field 5 miles outside of Exeter. We specialise in natural displays for your home, special occasion or gift, and nurture over 100 varieties of blooms with stunning colours and scent: from wildflower favourites including cornflowers and foxgloves, to scented sweet peas, aromatic herbs, romantic roses and dazzling dahlias. We use expert floristry to arrange our flowers freshly hand-picked from the field – creating  beautifully wild bouquets and displays, and thoughtfully selecting mixes for DIY buckets that will inspire your own creativity.

Our team

We are a small, passionate team led by Jenny, Hannah and Sharon, sharing over 20 years’ experience in organic growing, floristry and teaching. Our expertise, skills and creativity in both horticulture and floristry culminate in beautiful bouquets and flowers that reflect the seasonal flow and richness of nature.

Inspiring surroundings

In Bloom started in 2013, inspired by a desire to offer the beautiful colours and scents of cut flowers grown seasonally and sustainably, surrounded by nature. We share a four acre field with Exeter Growers Co-operative, with our plot of terraced beds sloping down towards Shillingford Wood, sheltered on one side by oak trees and surrounded by Devon hills. Our floral arrangements are created in a wood cabin, fitted with solar panels to help store and pump rainwater, overlooking our wildlife pond.

Working with nature

Growing our flowers in a way that has minimal environmental impact and supports nature is very important to us. We focus on healthy soil to feed our flowers, using peat-free compost, minimal tillage and no-dig growing methods, and we never use pesticides. All of our packaging is plastic-free.

We welcome pre-arranged visits so you can be inspired by our flowers and surroundings, and discuss your requirements. Please contact Jenny and we’ll pop the kettle on.
